me cry….. This is what life is about! A journey, a story, the passion,

This guy is uniquely AWESOME!!! He is a star already! Even if American
Idol doesn’t make him one, someone else should!!! It’s so hard to believe
that he just learned to play the guitar a year ago..Everything he did
tonight was perfect. All the things he did with his voice, was amazing. Raw
talent. Nothing like it!

I was surprised when Hollywood mentioned Covenant House towards the end of
his audition because for many years I’ve been supporting Covenant House
(California) which provides services to the homeless and runaway youth. If
there was ever any doubt about the authenticity of Covenant House,
Hollywood Anderson dispelled it by acknowledging this vital lifeline and I
thank him for confirming in my heart that giving to Covenant House is one
of life’s most rewarding experiences not just for those who receive much
needed support but also for those who give and keep on giving. All these
years I wondered about the young people that Covenant House has helped –
and I finally get to meet one of them, and his name is Hollywood Anderson.
God blessed him with a beautiful voice and talent, and now we’re all
crying tears of joy.
